My Story
Dream it.
Welcome to my site! My name is Diane-Monique and I am an English Communications Consultant living in Bucharest. I’m American by birth and Romanian by blood – a born and raised New Yorker who decided to move back to Bucharest I moved to Romania in 2013, stayed until 2016 to attend the Romanian-American University School of International Business, then got a series of sales & marketing jobs within an industry of energy investment companies, which allowed me to travel the globe for 5 years – only to find that, of all wonderful places,
I missed Romania. Throughout my time working directly with Ministers, Government bodies, C-level executives and high-net-worth investors in over 30 countries, and have had three major takeaways. Firstly, that nothing is unattainable and no one is unreachable. Secondly, that fluency and competence in English show your willingness to go beyond basic business standards.

And thirdly, on a more personal note, that if I can survive the jungle, desert, south of the Equator heat, urban battlefields, Indonesian traffic, second (third) – tier airlines, lizards, being allegedly banned from Singapore and South Africa, Nordic winters and being single in Paris, I can take on anything! Over the years, I’ve worked in sales, marketing and consulting in the financial, tech, energy and media sectors in both startups and multinational corporations. Given this diverse range of industries and professional styles across 30 countries, as well as my inherent knowledge of Romanian business culture, I would like to bring the varying set of communication skills I’ve acquired, to you.
